Haven’t been able to get a consistent blog schedule recently (or ever), due to a lot of new changes in my life (next blog will explain it all). But the last few weeks I’ve been at a stand still. Fluctuating between 150-149lbs for 2-3 weeks even after we added more cardio was very frustrating. As soon as I start to see progress, I hit another plateau!
Last week we decided to cut my protein from 145g to 120g and carbs from 155g to 135g. And the very next day I hit 148lbs! I’ve been maintaining that all week and I feel a lot better at lower protein (we all know that’s my main struggle). I’ve been feeling leaner each day, and it’s exciting to finally be able to SEE the changes in the mirror without having to look at old pictures to compare (but this also helps…see below). I’m extremely interested to see how my progress will continue through this week!
For everyone following my prep, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your encouragement when I may vent or whine about not progressing or being at a stand still. It might seem simple to you, but honestly, when you’re in prep, having a support system is so important! It gets to you, and messes with your mind in more than one way. So, thank you again for sticking around and caring about what goes on here. 🙂
